CARTIER'S FAMOUS DIAMOND NECKLACE FOR MAHARAJA BHUPINDER SINGH

This massive art deco necklace was created by Cartier for Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala in 1928. Made of platinum and studded with over 2,000 diamonds - including the world's seventh largest DeBeers diamond - is probably one of the most expensive pieces of jewellery ever made.
